SAKE TASTING EVENT @CARWYN CELLARS

Last Saturday afternoon, we had a sake & shochu tasting event at CARWYN CELLARS in Thornbury, Victoria.

We had 13 people attended the event and we tasted 3 Sake, 3 Shochu & 1 Umeshu along with a Sake & Shochu lecture.

4.Shironotakumi Kome (rice) Shochu
5.Kakushigura Mugi (barley) Shochu
6.Kaido Imo (sweet potato) Shochu
7. Choya Umeshu (plum wine) 



It was a great surprise to know that more Australian people are interested in Sake and indeed, some of them have tried Sake & Shochu before in Japan or at Japanese restaurant. Another surprise is Mugi Shochu (barley) was the most popular ones out of 7 bottles.
