Full of umami richness & sharp dry finish sake for everyday drinking. Fukui’s top sake brewery Ippongi believes that good sake should be made from good rice. That’s why most of their premium sake is made from quality guaranteed sake rice grown under the exclusive contract with the local farmers. Ippongi Tsuchi is made from one of the most famous sake rice Gohyakumangoku and indeed, you can see its typical rich & dry Gohyakumangoku style in a flavour. This well balanced sake is not too much appealing in any respects but the quality is very steady as a typical Honjozo and will be matched well with most of medium flavour dishes such as soy ginger sake steamed white fish or Tatsutaage chicken. Drink chilled, warm or room temperature as you prefer.
